Always Great Service & Delicious food....Love the Patio

Our waiter was wearing a mask but his nose was left uncovered. The food was alright. Beyond salty fries. Burger was one of the best I've had in a while. There cheese alfredo has wayyyy too much garlic and needs more brocolli or cut up brocolli.

Had to send out a search party to locate the chicken on my Tuscan chicken sandwich. If I said there was 2 ounces of chicken breast on there, I'd be overstating it. Also no flavor. I also expected pesto mayo to have some flavor not just a couple basil leaves chopped into a container of mayo. Very bland meal. Not my best visit there.

Nice setting. Helpful staff. Look at specials because the Chefs can get creative vs. daily menu.

On the way to drop off our son to college and stopped at The Hickory Bar and Grille for dinner. We had the chicken and shrimp creole, three cheese Alfredo and the cowboy classic. Everything was hot and delicious. We shared a peanut butter pie to finish off. If you are in the area, you should try this place.

I would have rated this place higher, however, there was a problem with the customer experience. Nothing wrong with the food or service. Par for the course. The problem starts and ends with their hostess. She seemed very disinterested in being at work and couldn't bother to even crack a smile. Took us to our table and just had a poor attitude. She might be in high school but management needs to remind her that hospitality is about first impressions and the customer experience.

Amazing food was absolutely perfect French onion dip was incredible along with zucchini fries love the outdoor seating service was top-notch

I had the Reuben and the sandwich was very good. Service was quick and attentive. Server poured a draft beer for someone and forgot to turn the thing off: beer ran for a long while before someone in our table called it to their attention. We thought they were emptying the beer thing...

Excellent service and food. Kalaurie was our server and the best. Informative and friendly. We also had the cabin fever. Best drink I've had. PLUS... Food was very reasonable.

Great service.. delicious appetizers and dishes.. and the apple cider mule superb!

It is a excellent place to take your family to eat also the prices are a little high but the food is so good it makes up for the high prices.

Got the chef special lobster and shrimp cakes. They were mushy. Side dish of spaghetti would not feed a small child. French onion soup was good.

Good food, and friend service on mothers day. I have seen better looking prime rib however.

Staff were wonderful, go when hungry because nothing comes in small portions. Burgers are super tasty

My family went their twice recently to celebrate birthdays. The food is excellent and service very good both times.

Atmosphere and service were very nice. Our meals were delicious but the price was more than we usually spend on a whole evening let alone a meal. May go back but I won't be a regular.

Comfortable, cozy restaurant with a broad menu and good specials. Tonight we had the sausage and pepper flatbread appetizer and Hickory chips [homemade potato chips] with ranch dressing. Entrees included Mac Attack burgers, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, stuffed hot peppers [an appetizer, but ordeted as a meal not shared], and specials of pot roast and stuffed pork chop. Everything was a hit. The pot roast was particularly good. One dessert was ordered-mint chocolate cake. Now, that was shared!Prices are reasonable but not a strategic stop for weekly family dining for a family of 6. Our bill including a 20% tip was $160.

Good pub fare. I had a great time here with my wife. Ambiance was kind if rustic, which worked.

I went for lunch today. Service was excellant. Food was outstanding. I have one concern. Why can't you have some light deserts? My partner is diabetic. There were no light deserts. Sugar free pie, or no sugar ice cream would be great..

Excellent food , menu selection and service. The restaurant was very busy for a Monday evening but the kitchen staff was sending the food out very fast. We had a seat by the fireplace which was very nice on this chilly day . Definitely 5 stars !! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Service is great just wasn't a good first experience but am willing to give them another try the burger I got was black and was completely wrong but the appetizers were excellent

Hickory Bar and Grille is part of the Springfield Restaurant Group. This location is as well run as the other restaurants that are located much closer to our home. The decor features the bygone era of dark stained wood, a wooden bar, and a large brick fireplace. The interior seems well kept and generally clean. The service is above average and so is the food which is American style comfort options. The parking lot is a little tight in the front of the building but there are ample spaces in the rear.

Friendly service, clean, food could have been better, the meat on sandwich was tough and it barely had cheese. It was a nice atmosphere but our table was super wobbly. It got annoying quick, tighten a few screws or replace it. 🙄

We had the most wonderful experience here! Our server was Dominique and she was so attentive, kind, thoughtful and pleasant. I am so happy we had her as our server. The food came out incredibly fast and was wonderful. It's been a while since we've been here and it will not be long before we are back again. I can't wait to come back and try some of the specials.

Enjoyed lunch of Salman sandwich subtitued french onion soup for one dollar upcharge. Server complied with special requests graciously. Manager stopped by the table more than once to chat and ensure food and service was to our liking. I recommend for lunch, dinner, or daily Happy hour

Food was great as always...people were even better... This is a place you must go to....All food is cooked perfectly...

The quality of the food has really gone down hill. Service was just ok. All in all the prices do not reflect the quality. This used to be one of my favorite places and now I just don't think I will go back.

Our first visit here was very pleasant. Excellent food! Friendly and attentive staff. My burger was cooked perfectly, and my fries were delicious. My boyfriend's club sandwich was huge, and he couldn't say enough positive things about it. The open air seating is great. We are looking forward to going back here soon!

My steak was overcooked. Another person with our party had overcooked pasta. The service was great!

Great restaurant! My server was fun and interactive;and she also made sure that we were aware of the specials and drink deals. I had a rare ste that was textbook prepared. Will go again.

Absolutely exceptional!!!!!! I love that when I always mention if they can do a chocolate covered cherry martini, they always do, and it's always amazing- along with everything else!

My husband and I want to say that the food was awesome and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. We're from Kentucky and we'll be back.

I had meat loaf and was good. Others in my party didn't care for spaghetti, and french dip.

THE FOOD good... However, if use to ham and bean soup being thick. Theirs is watery, NOT as good as a thick base. One other person at table ordered salad, along with the soup , was not served until 10 MIN after entrees were served and had to remind WAITRESS of the soup and salad had been ordered. Also, after an ice tea was refilled it tasted like soap. So, refilled third time and still tasted like soap. ALL had been brought to attention of manager. LATER, WAITRESS OFFERED each of party of 4 a dessert to go. Good recovery!

This is without a doubt in line and class with the other restaurants in this chain, namely Rachel's Roadhouse, Log Cabin Inn, Iron Bridge Restaurant, Springfield Grille and others. Excellent food, plated very well, service was impeccable, they did not make any mistakes and the pricing was very reasonable. There was a line when we got there but yet we sat at the bar with no problem. The line was there because this place is awesome

The food was delicious! The waiter was awesome. The restaurant was very clean. Enjoyed every bit of my first time there.

My wife and I stopped in after a movie. She had the chicken teriyaki on shewers and I had the angel hair and meatballs. For dessert we shared a piece of peanut butter pie.
